Theatre Transit is a newly formed theatre collective in Calgary, Alberta. As artists, we are united by our passion for new work and challenging texts. Our goal is to present engaging, challenging theatre, we want to tell new stories, and retell those that have been forgotten. Theatre Transit strives to offer a supportive and dynamic environment in which artists can collaborate and create as they transition from the worlds of emerging to professional theatres. In short, and as our moniker may suggest, we strive to create theatre that takes you places.
